Launched in 2009 as part of the UK2Group, VPS.NET is a leading cloud services provider, offering cloud hosting to over 10,000 clients, in more than 180 different countries. Since its inception in 2009, VPS.NET has continued to push the market forward, bringing forth numerous innovations to the industry, like rebootless resource upgrades, and allowing for clients to choose from 18 different datacenters to host their site.
Research had suggested that there was low engagement across the site, prompting a review to encourage growth and engagement.
Armed with just a few assets, we were brought onboard to review the existing VPS experience. For cloud-based solutions, the online presence is critical as its most often the only interaction the brand will have with its clients and prospective client base – therefore it is essential the brand connects with its audiences in this space.
With a tight deadline for launch, the process had to be efficient and accurate – reviewing the user journey and look and feel to create an engaging and creative visual interface that would reinvigorate the online experience by bringing design and experience to the forefront. In such a technologically advanced market we had to show that pure design and UX could help create differentiation for the business and achieve its goals.
Post design-phase, TBD was brought in to for the implementation stage which was an extension of the original brief. The team was able to completely integrate the new brand experience into VPS.net’s existing structure saving them both time, money and administration.
The new experience launched late in 2013 and is proving to be successful amongst it’s competitive set.
Many thanks for all of the support in what was a very a tight turnaround. A good solid 9/10 from me
